Delores And Estelle

The DAE Foundation was founded by College of Charleston Hall of Famer, Jermel President, in 1999. Named for his mother, Delores, and grandmother, Estelle, President founded the DAE Foundation to give back to the community that had raised him. As a former student-athlete in Charleston, President understood the need for skill development programs, and resources to educate and inform young basketball players. In 2023, the DAE Foundation expanded their physical education and social competency programs to provide that service to all students in partnership with schools and community organizations.
